Rural Sullivan Housing Corporation was established in 1981 to preserve and improve housing opportunities for low- to moderate-income residents of Sullivan County.
Rural Sullivan Housing Corporation provides individual housing counseling services free of charge in the following areas:
- Loss Mitigation Foreclosure Intervention Housing Rehabilitation
- HOME Rehabilitation Program
- Access to HOME Rehabilitation Program
- RESTORE Rehabilitation Program
- CDBG Rehabilitation Program Homebuyer Education
- First Time Homebuyer Down payment Program
- Pre-rental Eviction Intervention
- Fair Housing
RSHCo also conducts various workshops throughout the year in a variety of locations on one or more of the above categories.

What is a weatherization assistance provider?
Weatherization assistance providers can assist eligible homeowners and owners of rental properties with measures to improve energy efficiency, including:
Weatherization Services may also include other energy-related improvements such as: water heater repair/replacement, lighting fixture replacement, venting systems, refrigerator replacement, and certain electrical service work.
Weatherization services are available to income-eligible (60% of State median income) individuals who may be either homeowners or renters living in a single-family home, a manufactured/mobile home, or an apartment.
